Jodie is a consultant dietitian with specialised expertise in gut health, gastrointestinal conditions, and bariatric and metabolic surgery. She is passionate about helping individuals improve their overall health, optimise digestion, manage symptoms, and rebuild confidence around food.
With extensive experience in weight management and dietary behaviour change, Jodie adopts a practical, evidence-based approach to nutrition care. She frequently supports clients experiencing gut-related concerns such as bloating, IBS, and food intolerances, and is highly skilled in guiding individuals through elimination protocols, including the low FODMAP diet to identify triggers and restore digestive comfort.
Jodie has worked extensively in the field of bariatric and metabolic surgery and has presented her research at several International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) World Congresses (2019, 2022, and 2023). In recognition of her contribution to the field, she was awarded the IFSO APC Scholarship in 2022.
Jodie holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) and a Master of Dietetic Studies from the University of Queensland. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and an active member of Dietitians Australia.
