Dr Kate Fixter is a Specialist Anaesthetist focused on providing compassionate, patient-centred care. She grew up in regional NSW before moving to Sydney to study medicine at UNSW. She undertook her Anaesthetic training primarily at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. She undertook further Fellowship training at both the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and RPA in Sydney, with a focus on complex airway pathology and High risk Obstetric Anaesthesia.
