Dr Sarah Leighton completed a medical degree at Notre Dame University before pursuing specialist training in anaesthesia at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospitals. Following this, she undertook a fellowship at St George Hospital, further developing expertise across a broad range of anaesthetic practice to become a fellow of the Australian New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. Her interests include anaesthesia for paediatrics, emergency, airway and major abdominal surgery. Non clinically, Sarah has an interest in teaching anaesthetic trainees and improving patient satisfaction and outcomes in our public hospitals.
