Having graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales, he also lays claim to an internship and residency at the reputed Concord Hospital. Trained, thereafter, in general surgery at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Dr Gett also boasts a Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Fellowship, received in 2005.
With professional interest spanning the fields of surgical management of colon and rectal cancer, and the management of anorectal disorders, he is also involved in chairing the Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Meeting at St Vincent’s Hospital. Dr Gett also serves as the Director of Medical Student Education for the University of New South Wales and St Vincent’s Clinical School.
