Dr Nishlan Pillay is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating digestive diseases. With a passion for gastroenterology and a commitment to excellence, Dr. Pillay provides comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients.
Graduating in Medicine from the University of Sydney, Dr Pillay completed his gastroenterology and hepatology training in the endoscopy and liver units at Westmead Hospital and completed a further year at Bankstown Hospital. He has been a Staff specialist at Blacktown Hospital and is currently a Staff Specialist with the Central Coast Local Health District.
Dr Pillay specialises in a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, functional gastrointestinal disorders, reflux disease, and chronic liver disease.
Dr Pillay is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) and holds accreditation in colonoscopy and gastroscopy. He is also a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD).
