Sydney Gut Clinic is a state-of-the-art gastroenterology clinic and endoscopy hospital dedicated to diagnosing and treating gut and upper GI tract-related health conditions in Sydney.
One of our areas of speciality includes endoscopic evaluations, which are used to diagnose and treat various gastrointestinal diseases relating to the upper GI tract, including:
- Parasite infections
- Colorectal cancer
- Polyps
- Haemorrhoids
- Bowel inflammation
Conducted with the aid of an endoscope—a thin and flexible tube attached to a camera—these procedures allow gastroenterologists to diagnose diseases, extract biopsies, and even remove polyps, cancers, and lesions.
Our endoscopic procedures are performed by highly trained and experienced specialists and we provide you with pre and post-procedure information and support. Generally, patients can go home on the same day following the endoscopic procedure.
So, if you’re ever wondering “Where can I get an endoscopy near me?”, just contact our experts at Sydney Gut Clinic.
We can also help you with how you should prepare for your endoscopy. If you’re referred for an endoscopy by a general physician, bring your referral to our endoscopy hospital on the day of the procedure.
